How To Make "Homemade" Foaming Handsoap For Sensitive Skin

"Homemade" Foaming Hand Soap For Sensitive Skin

It's been forever since I've posted anything on here and well, summer time with 2 boys and the busy start to a school year are the cause of that, but I had a pretty good idea the other day that I thought others might find useful.

I love foaming hand soap and of course as a mom I wash my hands a million times a day. If you've read any of the other posts, you'll know that we shop at Aldi and in all fairness I've used quite a few bottles of Aldi's foaming hand soap. Regular softsoap doesn't foam well if you try to just refill the foaming soap bottle with it, so I knew there must be another cost-effective alternative.

It finally occurred to me that I needed to find a soap that was thinner than regular softsoap and there it was... the baby soap. Using straight baby soap still seemed a bit thick in the foaming soap dispenser, but here's the trick, only fill your foaming soap dispenser 1/3 with baby soap (I used Aldi brand baby bath or you can use Johnson & Johnsons) and then fill the rest of the way with water and give it a good shake. (I believe you have to have a foaming soap dispenser because it's different than a regular handsoap dispenser.) That's it. So easy, so useful and so much cheaper than buying another bottle of foaming hand soap!
