I do love fruit and most of the time I like it plain, but sometimes I like to jazz it up a bit, especially if I'm going to cut up some fruit and have it as a side item for a meal. It's kinda like adding a smidge of dessert into the middle of the meal. Basically there are 3 components that I use to make this small helping of fruit dip.
Here's the scoop:
3 Tablespoons of Cream Cheese softened
2 Tablespoons Non-fat Vanilla Yogurt
1 Tablespoon of sugar
In a small bowl scoop in approximately 3 Tbsp of cream cheese. If it's not soft and creamy, throw it in the microwave for a few seconds.
Now add 2 Tablespoons of Non-Fat Vanilla Yogurt
Lastly add 1 Tablespoon of Sugar and mix well.
Just a dollop on top of a small bowl of fruit will go a long way. Yum!
Also, if you don't have any yogurt on hand, but happen to have one of those small servings of pre-made vanilla pudding, you can replace the yogurt AND sugar for 2 Tbsp of vanilla pudding. Enjoy! :-)
